A leading food manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator to join their established technical team at their Bridgwater site. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality, Technical or QA professional looking to take ownership of quality management systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with production, operations and technical teams, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring compliance, coordinating audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Support investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Produce and analyse quality performance reports and KPIs
  • Work closely with production teams to drive quality improvements
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
  • Support continuous improvement projects across the site
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments, customers and suppliers
  • Promote quality awareness and best practice throughout the business

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a Technical, Quality or QA role
  • Experience working within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems and food safety standards
  • Internal and external audit experience desirable

Salary: £45,000

Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:00 / 08:00 - 16:00
