We're looking for a Technical Compliance Engineer who can translate complex customer requirements into compliant, high-quality heat-treatment processes. If you enjoy technical detail, customer interaction, and ensuring precision in a high-spec aerospace environment, this role is for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review customer contracts, purchase orders, and technical requirements
  • Ensure all heat-treatment processes meet AS9100, NADCAP & customer specifications
  • Manage process documentation, configuration control & validation trials
  • Act as a technical interface for customers, supporting enquiries & quotations
  • Maintain specification libraries and support internal/external audits
  • Work closely with production, quality & commercial teams to ensure successful delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Engineering
  • 5+ years in a technical engineering role (heat treatment preferred; surface treatments considered)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings & aerospace specifications (AMS, NADCAP, AS9100)
  • Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, organised, and confident working across multiple teams
