Are you an engineer looking to join a market-leading specialist in restricted-access lifting machinery? We are seeking a motivated Workshop Engineer to focus on the installation, calibration, and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of high-end lifting equipment. This is a workshop-based role within a clean, efficient environment, perfect for a professional who takes pride in high-standard machinery preparation.
The Role
- Installation & Calibration: Fitting advanced safety systems and calibrating crane specifications.
- Testing & Inspection: Conducting thorough PDIs on incoming and outgoing machinery.
- Maintenance & Repair: Fault finding, diagnosing defects, and refurbishing older units.
- Technical Support: Providing remote diagnostic support to field engineers and assisting the R&D department.
- Training Support: Assisting the training team in delivering technical instruction to customers and dealers.
Who We Are Looking For
- Technical Background: Level 2 or 3 Engineering qualification.
- Electrical Expertise: Experience with 12/24v DC automotive or plant-type systems. Knowledge of CAN bus systems is a distinct advantage.
- Precision: The ability to follow complex electrical and hydraulic diagrams accurately.
- Problem Solver: Proven ability in fault-finding and diagnosis.
