Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Atherton

Maintenance Engineer in Atherton, working 4on4off Days and Nights with a salary of £54,000 plus a leading benefits structure including 10% Pension, Bonus Scheme, Life Assurance, Holiday, Training, Overtime, and a canteen with a number of free meals.

Role Description - What you will be doing:

• Planned and reactive maintenance work to maximise OEE, reduce downtime and improve machinery performance.
• Communicating effectively with the wider engineering team, production and other key stakeholders.
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times.
• Ensuring the highest H&S standards and safe working practices are carried out.
• Spotting opportunities for process improvements and working with the team to implement those.
• Maintenance on Mixers, Valves, Reactors and other Mechanical Equipment.
• Improvement Projects.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Time-Served Electrical Maintenance Engineering Experience.
• Food/FMCG/Packaging Industrial Engineering Backgrounds desired.
• Previous work in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to work in a team environment and continue to develop as an engineer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willingness to train & take on internal training opportunities.
