Role & Responsibilities
- Product Design and development of medical devices from concept to market release
- Create parametrically editable 3D models of legacy products
- Provide engineering requirements for ECOs
- Communicate technical information (verbal/written) underpinned with engineering principles and evidence in a clear and concise manner (GDP)
- Carry out design updates for any design changes as part of the change management process
- Verification and validation of components and assemblies (ISIR and appropriate testing as required)
- Record all formal and relevant informal engineering information in the PLM system
- Modification/amendment of new/existing drawings in accordance with design standards
- Other reasonable duties which may be requested by the manager from time to time
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Problem solving techniques (e.g., DFMEA / Risk Analysis)
- Experience in compilation of usability engineering files
- Open to candidates with a manufacturing background
- Experience working as a Design Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- A degree qualified person with 1-2 years of design experience is a perfect fit for this role
