Salary: £45,500 – £47,500 per annum.

Monday – Friday with early finish on Fridays.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Planned maintenance inspections and review of parts used
  • Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules; carry out safety checks on a range of equipment
  • Monitor plant conditions; report defects and repair machinery
  • Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments
  • Report on plant performance using systems, ensuring action on non-conformance issues
  • Work on a range of valves & pumps
  • Support production and continuous improvement projects

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Formal engineering qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or apprenticeship trained
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
  • Experience in food, packaging, drink or manufacturing environments
