EMC Compliance Manager

An electronics business in the Northwest is looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for all testing activities related to product approvals. The company we are representing designs and manufactures a range of consumer electronics governed by EN54 standards. You will be the technical authority for these matters and liaise with external testing bodies, as well as head up an internal testing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing activities related to product approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the technical authority on EMC compliance matters.
- Liaise with external testing bodies and internal testing team.
- Oversee internal testing processes and documentation to ensure EN54 standards compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics or 5 years experience + qualifications
- Supervisory experience (team leadership / management)
- Proven experience in approvals, compliance, regulatory affairs, certification, etc.
- Experience with EMC testing or design compliance
- Working knowledge of EN54 standards is advantageous
- Open to occasional international travel
