About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven
Production Manager to lead and oversee all production activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on leader who is passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and developing high‑performing teams.
Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and cost‐effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise production schedules, resources, and capacity.
- Drive operational performance through KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to maximise productivity and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
- Oversee performance management, training, and employee development.
- Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance.
- Prepare operational reports and implement improvement plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Production Manager within manufacturing.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 6S.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Track record of delivering operational KPI targets.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
