Role & Responsibilities
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long term machine reliability.
- Execution of the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively in addition to reactively.
- Use of appropriate root cause analysis tools & 5S.
- Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer out persistent problems.
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained.
- Continuous improvement knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
- Experience in Engineering, manufacturing or production environments.
