We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Team Leader to support and lead a skilled maintenance team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role where you’ll help drive performance, ensure standards are maintained, and act as the vital link between maintenance and wider operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control overtime to support production requirements
  • Manage shift planning and maintain holiday schedules
  • Deliver clear and effective shift reports to the wider business
  • Complete structured shift handovers in line with standard procedures
  • Ensure tool trollies are maintained, standardised, and regularly audited
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across all maintenance areas and equipment
  • Control spare parts ordering within the maintenance budget
  • Act as the primary link between Maintenance and other departments
  • Support initial Maintenance involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Provide daily reporting to the Maintenance BUL following standard processes

  • Strong team player with the ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Experience in a Maintenance environment (automotive background preferred)
  • ABB experience desirable
  • Ability to promote a strong feedback and continuous improvement culture
  • Organised, proactive, and confident managing shift operations
