A leading manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality products is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team in Erdington, Birmingham.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Planned maintenance inspections and review of parts used.
- Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules.
- Carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
- Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery.
- Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments.
- Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non-conformance issues.
- Work on a range of valves and pumps.
- Support production and continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained.
- Continuous improvement knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
- Experience in food, packaging, drink, or manufacturing environments.
Benefits Package:
- Salary: £46,000 - £46,500.
- Monday – Friday, 3 Shift.
- Overtime, 25 days + Bank Holidays.
