Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a background in indirect procurement looking to join a growing global engineering organisation?
We are working with a leading international engineering company in Gloucestershire that is seeking a commercially focused Senior Buyer to take ownership of indirect purchasing activities across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where procurement plays a key role in driving operational success and cost efficiencies.
The role:
- Manage procurement activities across UK and European sites.
- Source suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Build and maintain key supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and compliance.
- Deliver cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure purchasing activities meet company and legal standards.
- Support sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Resolve supplier and procurement-related issues.
What we are looking for:
- Procurement and supplier negotiation experience.
- Commercial and analytical mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
