A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer for a leading manufacturing company in the Gloucester area. Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead loss elimination and process optimisation across packaging and processing lines.
  • Reduce stoppages, changeovers, waste and variability through data-driven problem solving.
  • Develop and maintain technical standards and ensure lines run to standard.
  • Train and coach technicians and line teams on root cause analysis and basic conditions.
  • Support digital and automation projects to improve performance and consistency.
  • Drive OR and DBNR improvements and share best practices across lines.
  • Act as deputy for the CI Manager when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Strong FMCG manufacturing knowledge in processing and packaging.
  • Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering background with hands-on problem-solving ability.
  • Skilled in data analysis, statistics and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with FI, AM, PM, Q, PD and ICMS tools.
  • Ability to design processes, optimise manpower and reduce NVAA.
  • Strong project management and FMEA capability.
  • Confident trainer, coach and cross-functional collaborator.
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturing financial KPIs.
