Role & Responsibilities:
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimising downtime and improving long‑term machine reliability
- Execute the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer’s plan to work preventatively and reactively
- Use appropriate root‑cause analysis tools and 5S
- Actively support a culture of continuous improvement, engineering out persistent problems
- Carry out routine planned preventive maintenance
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or apprenticeship trained
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of good engineering standards
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing or production environments
