A great opportunity has just become live with one of my clients, based in Bristol! You will enjoy a varied role, where your primary duty is to deliver fully tested products and improve overall product quality through CI initiatives. You will be someone with Test Engineering experience and ideally hold a recognised electrical apprenticeship on HNC or equivalent in an electrical discipline.

The Role:

  • Deliver fully tested, fully functional products in line with test procedures.
  • Take ownership of assigned products and proactively resolve issues.
  • Follow test procedures accurately and complete all supporting documentation correctly.
  • Meet target times consistently.
  • Contribute to test-time reduction through Continuous Improvement.
  • Support product quality by capturing accurate fault data (FRACAS) to enable effective corrective action.
  • Assist the Test Team Leader in achieving on-time delivery to the manufacturing plan.
  • Support improvements in quality, Health & Safety, cleanliness, and 5S.
  • Actively promote 5S within the test department.

The Candidate:

  • Electrical apprenticeship (time-served) or equivalent qualification such as City & Guilds Part 3, HND, HNC, or BTech Level 3.
  • Able to follow test procedures precisely and report results accurately.
  • Good understanding of quality and Health & Safety requirements.
  • Capable of analysing issues and proposing solutions.
  • IT literate.
  • Self-motivated team player with clear communication skills and minimal supervision needed.
