Salary: GBP45000 - GBP50000 per annum + Benefits

Location: Diss, Norfolk

Working Hours: Monday–Friday Days + Shift Cover When Needed

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with complex electrical & electronic breakdowns and repairs
  • Working on various automation & controls, HMi’s, production & packaging machinery
  • PLC – electrical fault finding, troubleshooting & modifications to existing code
  • Fault finding & interrogation of circuits, variable speed drives, AC drives, control panels, inverters
  • Electrical isolation, safety and LOTO

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must be an experienced electrical / electronics engineer
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, isolation and LOTO procedures
  • PLC – electrical fault finding, troubleshooting & modifications – Siemens
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Ideally have completed a time-served apprenticeship
  • Must have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment previously
  • Able to read and interpret electrical & control schematics
  • Worked on circuits, inverters, instrumentation, control panels, variable speed drives, HMi’s
