They are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the delivery of bespoke and modified customer projects on time and within budget.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work within the Mechanical Design team to realise customer designs, taking them from concept or modification stages through to manufacturing and final handover to the customer.
- Design bespoke mechanical and fabricated products using Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Liaise closely with the end customer on design improvements, project timescales and product delivery.
- Occasional travel to customer sites to discuss new design projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in mechanical design using Inventor, Solidworks or a similar CAD package, with at least 12 months of experience designing mechanical equipment.
- Ability to translate customer ideas into design drawings.
- Ideally holds an HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Benefits Package:
