Our client is a well-established manufacturer operating within a technically driven environment. They are seeking an NPD Manager to lead product innovation, manage the product development lifecycle and support the delivery of strategic growth objectives.
Benefits Package:
- A starting salary between £45’000 to £48’000

Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple NPD/NPI projects from development through to production.
- Coordinate Design, Engineering, Production, Quality and external partners.
- Manage project plans, milestones, risks, actions and budgets.
- Lead stage-gate reviews and ensure projects meet requirements before progressing.
- Coordinate prototypes, product trials, testing and validation.
- Ensure documentation, approvals and production handovers are completed.
- Manage and prioritise the workload of a small technical team.
- Provide clear project updates and escalation risks or delays when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing NPD, NPI or product development projects within manufacturing.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Experience with stage-gate or structured product development processes.
- Understanding of prototype development, testing, validation and production readiness.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Practical, hands-on understanding of manufacturing environments.
