Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to enhance existing manufacturing processes. The role involves using initiative to identify areas that will improve production performance, line utilisation, and focus on reducing scrap levels. Maintenance support regarding projects is also required, working on a large variety of equipment including gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyor systems, and PLCs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Multi-skilled engineer – ideally electrical bias but mechanical bias will be considered (60:40 split)
  • Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3
  • Experience within manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving/fault-finding ability
