We are recruiting for a growing and innovative business looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of the production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced workshop professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards, leading by example, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
This role will be working a day shift of 7am-3:30pm.

- Maintain a clean, organised workshop in line with 5S principles.
- Ensure PPE compliance and uphold health & safety standards.
- Carry out basic equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, escalating when necessary.
- Use and maintain workshop tools and machinery safely.
- Support stock control of materials and consumables.
- Operate forklifts to unload, move, and store goods.
- Drive continuous improvements in workshop performance and efficiency.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a workshop, manufacturing, production, or heavy plant environment.
- Strong understanding of how a busy shop floor operates.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience using workshop tools and equipment.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
