Following their recent investment they are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join and lead their well-established maintenance team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers brilliant stability as well as excellent progressional routes. Internal and external training courses are provided to further develop your skills and career depending on the route you’d like to go within this National business. The role provides excellent work life balance being a Days role working 7am – 3pm.
Role & Responsibilities
- Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed and with a high quality, focus on preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Detect deviations in the performance of the plant's asset function in time.
- Fault find on a range of equipment such as AC/DC Motors and Drives, PLC’s, Sensors and pumps.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work on a daily basis, through detailed job preparation with the Engineer of the area.
- Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardization.
- Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours in order to detect anomalies.
- Provide support to Maintenance teams in the diagnosis and problem solving.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques, when appropriate, for the management of equipment and components.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering is a minimum requirement.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting.
- Strong Fault finding and repair experience.
- Experience working with AC/DC Motors and Drives.
- PLC fault finding experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and find solutions in a short period of time.
