Senior Quality Engineer
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business in Bridgwater. You'll play a key role in managing customer quality issues, driving continuous improvement, and supporting quality excellence across the operation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead quality contact for customer, supplier, and internal quality issues.
- Lead investigations into complaints, deviations, and non-conformances, driving effective CAPA activities.
- Support customer audits, site visits, and quality performance reviews.
- Maintain and improve quality processes including CAPA, PFMEA, control plans, and risk management.
- Analyse quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and reduce repeat issues.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Production to improve process performance and product quality.
- Coach and support Quality Engineers to strengthen quality standards and best practices.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a Senior Quality Engineer or similar manufacturing quality role.
- Strong background in customer quality, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of CAPA, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and risk management tools.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, or similar standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
