They are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager, to join at an exciting time with 5 years’ worth of £10m investment going into the plant!
Key role & responsibilities:
- Leading an experienced, multi-disciplined team (15 people), to deliver on engineering strategy, ensuring everything is working safely, reliably and efficiently.
- Massive focus on continuous improvements, OEE, RCA & TPM strategies.
- Develop the team's mindset, by coaching, to be more of a proactive maintenance environment.
- Manage the CMMS effectively, create new PPM’s, new workflows, SOP’s.
- Empower the team to be high-performing, setting goals & targets.
Knowledge, skills & experience needed:
- Must have strong leadership qualities – driven, empowering, coach, influencer.
- Performance & continuous improvement track records – setting goals, OEE, developing people.
- 5-10 years experience as an engineering manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be a resilient character, this is a busy role, driving the engineering department forward against long term plans for the site.
- Financial acumen – £10m budget control, £1m+ CAPEX projects.
- Must be technically strong – ideally taken the route up through engineering apprenticeship.
- HNC/HND Engineering or higher + IOSH Managing Safely.
- Used CMMS (ideally SAP), PPM & TPM strategy experience.
