A leading manufacturer dedicated to producing high-quality products is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team in Erdington, Birmingham.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Planned maintenance inspections and review of parts used.
  • Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules.
  • Carry out safety checks on a range of equipment.
  • Monitor plant conditions, report defects, and repair machinery.
  • Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs and risk assessments.
  • Report on plant performance using systems and ensure action on non-conformance issues.
  • Work on a range of valves and pumps.
  • Support production and continuous improvement projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Formal Engineering Qualification – C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained.
  • Continuous improvement knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards.
  • Experience in food, packaging, drink, or manufacturing environments.

Benefits Package:

  • Salary: £46,000 - £46,500.
  • Monday – Friday, 3 Shift.
  • Overtime, 25 days + Bank Holidays.
