Role Overview – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities across site equipment.
- Support production by minimising downtime and improving overall equipment reliability and performance.
- Work collaboratively with engineering colleagues, production teams and site stakeholders.
- Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and ensure compliance with site procedures.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance machinery efficiency.
- Provide maintenance support on mixers, valves, reactors and a variety of mechanical process equipment.
- Contribute to engineering projects, upgrades and site improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical background.
- Previous experience within Food, FMCG, Packaging, Manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach to engineering and problem solving.
- Able to work independently and make sound engineering decisions when required.
- Keen to develop technically and take advantage of further training opportunities.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement.
