Role Overview – Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities across site equipment.
  • Support production by minimising downtime and improving overall equipment reliability and performance.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering colleagues, production teams and site stakeholders.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and ensure compliance with site procedures.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance machinery efficiency.
  • Provide maintenance support on mixers, valves, reactors and a variety of mechanical process equipment.
  • Contribute to engineering projects, upgrades and site improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate completion of maintenance records and documentation.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Time-served Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical background.
  • Previous experience within Food, FMCG, Packaging, Manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach to engineering and problem solving.
  • Able to work independently and make sound engineering decisions when required.
  • Keen to develop technically and take advantage of further training opportunities.
  • Strong commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement.
