Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to leaders, supporting them in managing their budgets and understanding real world financial impacts of their decisions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting and data collection processes.
- Lead the finance team to ensure a timely, accurate, and smooth month-end close process.
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments and subsidiary businesses.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts and internal financial reporting for the leadership team, including actionable commentary explaining the key drivers.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives such as financial planning for projects and ROI analysis.
Requirements
- Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Experience within similar roles in a variety of sectors, and ideally involving employee ownership
- Proficient in Information Technology.
- Experience of leading people and teams, with the desire to enable individuals’ growth
- Experience within the Manufacturing or Engineering sectors
