A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is required to join their highly skilled team as soon as possible.
Role & Responsibilities:
- To maintain, repair and fault find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
- Contribute toward machine efficiency and development programmes using existing maintenance programmes and CI methodologies including 5 why analysis.
- Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify and implement action plans needed to stop reoccurring faults.
- Completion of Risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a maintenance technician in a busy, high volume manufacturing environment.
- Having served a recognised apprenticeship in a suitable discipline and ideally educated to HNC level.
- The successful candidate will be mechanically biased but will have experience in both Mechanical and electrical disciplines.
- The candidate must be experienced in fault finding and repairs in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, servicing and repair of gearboxes and other large mechanical equipment, workshop skills including welding, fabrication and use of workshop equipment including a lathe, milling machine and pillar drill.
