In this role, you'll work at the forefront of the machine shop, contributing directly to a busy new‑product pipeline and playing a key role in bringing advanced, high‑performance devices to market. It's an ideal position for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine, test and optimise hardware and firmware systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maximising effectiveness of machine tools to demand.
- Drive productivity improvement on CNCs through better tooling, program design, use of automation.
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, drills) according to job requirements.
- Load raw materials and verify tooling setup.
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform in‑process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Monitor machine performance and report issues promptly.
- Apply lean principles and suggest process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience operating CNC machines in a production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Proficiency in DMG Mori programming platforms (Celos, VPS). (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Siemens NX, Mastercam).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
