Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for injection moulding? This could be the perfect role for you. I am working with a company looking to take on an injection mould technician to support and develop the engineering function for their busy manufacturing sites. This business has gone from strength to strength, having a strong order book and has reinforced their success with a recently opened new premises.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Machine setup & operation, installing mould tools, setting machines, and starting production runs
- Process setting, adjusting parameters like temperature, pressure, and cycle times to achieve the correct part quality
- Inspecting parts during production to ensure they meet specifications and identifying defects
- Resolving day-to-day issues with machines or tooling and carrying out routine maintenance
- Training junior members of staff, identifying and resolving issues and defects during production
- Creating or improving mould tools to produce parts efficiently and to the required quality standards
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Injection Moulding experience
- Engineering qualifications
