Working within this well-established company you will be involved in the full design process of orders, improvements and cost reductions. The company is experiencing a continued increase in business, and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a growing team. Role & Responsibilities * Generate new systems to customer specifications * Liaise with supplier to find optimal design solutions * Complete Mechanical design checks for team members * Develop, maintain and amend engineering drawings using CAD * Ensure project costs/estimates are understood against actual costs * Participate in continuous improvement activities Required Skills & Experience * Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering* Working knowledge of Engineering Design System (3D CAD)* Specific experience with 3D Autodesk Inventor* Knowledge of CAD data management systems (Teamcenter or similar) * Knowledge of MRP systems
