Roles and Responsibilities:
- Act as the main engineering contact for production staff and work within the maintenance and continuous improvement team.
- Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring smooth coordination while maintaining productivity through planned maintenance and timely repairs.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and implementing long-term fixes to prevent repeat issues.
- Support safety and operational standards by conducting risk assessments, training colleagues, and assisting with new equipment installations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
- Timeserved engineering apprenticeship (electrical).
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience working within an FMCG environment.
- Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
