My client is seeking a Linux Technician to join their growing team and get hands-on with all aspects of supporting their Linux systems. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level Linux specialist to join a growing MSP, become a go-to engineer for keeping client production environments running smoothly, and continue developing your skills across automation, containerisation, and virtualisation.

Responsibilities

  • Fixing Linux incidents/outages
  • Server patching and security updates
  • Ticketing updates
  • Basic infrastructure tasks including server/printer registrations
  • Production monitoring and support

Essentials

  • Strong Linux experience (CentOS/RHEL/Oracle Linux)
  • Strong patching experience (yum/dnf, kernel updates & safe reboots)
  • Troubleshooting CPU, memory, disk, network, services
  • Experience using ticketing tools
  • Analysis logging
  • Bash scripting
  • Experience in live production support
