  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Program, set and operate CNC milling machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to apprentices and less experienced engineers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality and machine performance.
  • Collaborate with production and leadership teams to ensure delivery targets and operational objectives are achieved.

Requirements

  • Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Haas controls, G-code programming, tooling, feeds and speeds.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use a range of inspection and measurement equipment.
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring or developing apprentices/junior engineers
  • Highly Advantageous
  • Edgecam experience.
  • Experience in a senior, lead or supervisory-level CNC position.
  • 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience preferred.
