- Roles & Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
- Provide technical support to apprentices and less experienced engineers.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality and machine performance.
- Collaborate with production and leadership teams to ensure delivery targets and operational objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Haas controls, G-code programming, tooling, feeds and speeds.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use a range of inspection and measurement equipment.
- Previous experience coaching, mentoring or developing apprentices/junior engineers
- Highly Advantageous
- Edgecam experience.
- Experience in a senior, lead or supervisory-level CNC position.
- 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience preferred.
