I am working with a digital marketing agency who is looking for a talented Senior Marketing Executive to deliver outstanding work for purpose-driven, sustainability-focused clients. If you’re a multi-talented generalist marketer who thrives in an agency environment and wants to work with a business that genuinely cares about sustainability, please apply.

Benefits:

  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave + your birthday off
  • Volunteering: 2 full paid days per year for a charity or cause of your choice
  • Regular team away days and more

About the role:

This is a hands-on, fast-paced, client delivery role. You’ll be responsible for delivering the bulk of our day-to-day marketing output for several of our retainer clients. That means multiple projects simultaneously, in varied sectors, and switching seamlessly between tasks — whilst producing high-quality, strategic work that drives impact.

They are a small team, so you will get stuck into a wide range of activities, including:

  • Managing and growing LinkedIn pages for clients.
  • Creating and executing content strategies.
  • Writing and publishing blog posts.
  • Updating websites (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, etc.).
  • Curating and designing email newsletters (Mailchimp, Ecosend).
  • Researching sector-specific content for sustainability-focused audiences.
  • Supporting with social media campaigns (especially LinkedIn and Instagram).
  • Occasionally using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or basic video tools.
  • Working closely with both co-founders and a team of trusted and talented contractors and freelancers on client delivery and strategy.

While this role will not initially include client account management, that may evolve quickly for the right person. If you are proactive in your development, and consistently deliver excellent work, they’ll reward that with responsibility, autonomy, and progression — no waiting around for annual reviews.

About you:

They are looking for a creative, strategic, and organised marketing generalist with strong hands-on experience, ideally with some agency-side exposure so you’re familiar with switching gears between different clients and priorities.

You should be:

  • A proven marketing all-rounder — equally comfortable writing content, managing social media, planning strategy, and handling execution
  • A strong multitasker — able to keep multiple plates spinning across different clients and channels
  • Digitally fluent — confident using CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace), Mailchimp/EcoSend, and social media tools
  • A great writer and researcher — curious, proactive, and willing to dig into unfamiliar topics to understand their clients and their world.
  • Passionate about sustainability — experience in this space is a bonus, but enthusiasm, alignment with shared values, and a desire to learn are essential
  • Creative and confident — bonus points if you have experience with design tools (Adobe CS or Canva) or basic videography/editing skills

If you’ve previously worked in a B Corp, sustainable business, or impact-led marketing agency, it will be beneficial. But more than anything, they are hiring for competence, adaptability, and attitude.

Skills:

  • Generalist marketing
  • Content Creation, copywriting
  • Web builder and CMS – WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace
  • Email newsletters – Mailchimp, EcoSend
  • Media Campaigns – LinkedIn, Instagram
  • Video tools – Adobe Creative Suite, Canva

Desirable:

  • Sustainability marketing / projects
  • Agency / External clients

Culture:

They only work with clients who are committed to sustainability, ethical business, and doing good. They have give back days, supporting worthy local causes. Great working culture, including away days, social time, and a real commitment to creating a team that enjoys working together. Performance is rewarded; if you’re delivering outstanding work that adds value, you don’t need to wait 12 months for a promotion, bonus, or pay rise. We lead from the front. This business has been profitable since year one, and only just getting started. Join now and play a direct role in shaping their future. This is an urgent role, if you would like to be considered then please apply quoting reference LIRAR102859.
