One of our most prestigious clients currently has an exciting opportunity within their frequently growing organisation for a Senior Electronic Engineer. They have experienced sustained success over recent years being a household name in their industry and are a market leading global organisation. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Control the design, development and evaluation, from concept to production for new models making sure they comply with the customer requirements.
  • Develop test procedures to validate designs. Study EMC & Signal Integrity issues, identify and eliminate design problems before sample stages.
  • Apply technical expertise to investigate, identify and implement and support countermeasures and improvements to resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure development builds are according to agreed schedules. Supporting with components and assembly house queries.
  • Consider new technology to improve and implement new R&D systems/ processes ensuring efficient product development and future improvement to product development

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree level qualification in an Engineering based discipline plus 5 years relevant industry experience
  • High level of experience in Electrical and EMC testing in a design environment and of fault finding to component level
  • High level of experience of PCB design tools (Zuken CR5000 preferably) & Circuit simulation tools
  • Highly experienced in designing electronics circuits and taking the design from concept to mass production
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of electrical and electronic circuit theory
