This role will provide you the opportunity to manage a large engineering team, work on exciting projects and play a real role in the development of the business engineering function and engineering team.
- Responsible for achieving the agreed levels of overall equipment availability and equipment related performance to contribute to an OEE measure.
- Responsible for delivering cultural change within the Engineering function.
- Must develop KPI’s and deliver measurable improvements in the effectiveness of the Engineering team.
- Responsible for an effective spares management program to reduce risk and cost to the business.
- Will lead projects up to £1m within the Engineering team.
- Effectively manage performance of team members against agreed objectives and Key Performance indicators.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a heavy engineering environment.
- Will have held full functional responsibility for engineering within a relevant business.
- Demonstrable experience of managing large capital projects on time and within budget.
