Senior HR Advisor Location: Cookstown, Northern Ireland Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Attractive salary & benefits, bonus etc Due to continued growth, our leading, large, fast paced Client in the Cookstown area, urgently wishes to recruit and experienced Senior HR Advisor. This is a permanent, HR generalist job, offering excellent salary and benefits Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful Senior HR Advisor will lead HR operations at the Cookstown site, which employs circa 90 team members. This stand-alone HR role will have full responsibility for day-to-day HR generalist duties, providing customer-focused advice and support to managers, supervisors, and team members in line with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job creation to onboarding, partnering with managers to ensure quality talent acquisition. Employee Engagement & Culture: Lead initiatives focused on change management, team member engagement, and culture & inclusion. HR Policy Development: Maintain and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are consistently applied across the site. Absence Management: Proactively manage employee absence and coordinate occupational health provision. Employee Relations: Professionally handle disciplinary and grievance issues, ensuring fair and legal compliance. Training & Development: Plan, organise, and deliver training for team members at all levels to support their development. The Person: HR-related degree (advantageous). CIPD qualified (or working towards) with experience in a manufacturing/engineering/production environment. Strong understanding of NI/UK employment law Proven experience as a true HR Advisor/Business Partner, supporting employee relations and managing HR operations effectively Adept at working in a fast-paced environment, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach and advise managers and team members. Strong IT skills, particularly in HR systems and reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly). The Rewards: Competitive salary and benefits package.
