We are hiring for our client, an established precast concrete manufacturer based outside Ballymena, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager (Civils). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a talented sales team within a forward-thinking, quality-driven business supplying the civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction sectors across the UK and Ireland.

The Role:
As Sales Manager (Civils), you will:
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue and profit targets
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the civil engineering sector
- Lead bid and tendering processes, ensuring competitive and accurate submissions
- Manage and motivate the Civil Sales team to deliver business goals
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, report on performance, and contribute to business strategy
- Deputise for the Head of Sales & Marketing as required
The Person:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years’ experience managing sales teams within the civil engineering or construction sector
- Strong estimating and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Confident IT user – MS Office and AutoCAD proficiency desirable
