Job Title: Sales Manager (Civils)

Location: Ballymena

We are hiring for our client, an established precast concrete manufacturer based outside Ballymena, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager (Civils). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a talented sales team within a forward-thinking, quality-driven business supplying the civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction sectors across the UK and Ireland.

The Role:

As Sales Manager (Civils), you will:

  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue and profit targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the civil engineering sector
  • Lead bid and tendering processes, ensuring competitive and accurate submissions
  • Manage and motivate the Civil Sales team to deliver business goals
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure on-time delivery and client satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends, report on performance, and contribute to business strategy
  • Deputise for the Head of Sales & Marketing as required

The Person:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years’ experience managing sales teams within the civil engineering or construction sector
  • Strong estimating and negotiation skills with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Confident IT user – MS Office and AutoCAD proficiency desirable
