The Role:

  • Advise on complex renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, hydro, and emerging technologies
  • Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and project documentation
  • Support clients from planning and development through to financing and construction
  • Work collaboratively across departments including real estate, corporate, and regulatory teams
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients in the energy sector, helping shape legal strategies and navigate regulatory frameworks

The Person:

  • Qualified solicitor in Scotland or England & Wales (dual-qualified welcome)
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualified experience ideally, but flexibility depending on background
  • Previous experience advising on energy, infrastructure, or commercial projects preferred
  • Commercially minded, solutions-focused, and passionate about sustainability and renewables
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills essential
