We are delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Recruitment Assistant to join their established Talent Acquisition team based in Belfast City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive and people-focused individual to develop their recruitment career within a fast-paced, international environment.

Working closely with the Recruitment Manager and wider Talent team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a first-class recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders. The role offers exposure across the full recruitment lifecycle, supporting recruitment activity across multiple locations, functions and early careers programmes.

The Role

  • Provide essential coordination and administrative support across all stages of recruitment
  • Managing and updating live vacancies across applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms
  • Posting job advertisements and monitoring recruitment campaigns
  • Coordinating interviews, assessments and candidate communications
  • Acting as a key point of contact for candidates, recruitment agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting offer processes, contracts and onboarding activities
  • Maintaining accurate recruitment records and reporting data
  • Assisting with early careers recruitment initiatives including apprenticeships, vacation schemes and training programmes
  • Coordinating assessment centres, university events and candidate engagement activities
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects across recruitment processes and systems
  • Supporting early careers recruitment activity, helping to deliver a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinating university engagement activities, careers events and recruitment initiatives
  • Supporting assessment processes and candidate communications
  • Maintaining accurate records and recruitment documentation
  • Helping promote the organisation as an employer of choice

The Person

  • Experience within recruitment administration, HR administration or a similar coordination role
  • Experience working in a recruitment or HR admin role within a large, fast paced, commercial environment. Professional services would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills with confidence engaging with candidates, agencies and senior stakeholders
  • Experience providing a high level of customer or client service
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment
  • Experience using recruitment systems or applicant tracking systems would be advantageous
