We are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading manufacturer in the South Belfast area to recruit an experienced People Partner/HR Business Partner to join their established People & Culture team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR professional who enjoys operating as a true business partner, providing strategic and operational HR support across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with leadership teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping people strategy, supporting organisational performance and delivering practical HR solutions that enhance employee engagement, culture and business success.

As People Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, providing expert guidance across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Partnering with leadership teams to develop and deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Advising managers on HR policies, procedures, employment matters and best practice
  • Providing specialist support on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disputes and employment-related risks
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement across HR processes
  • Using HR data and insights to identify trends, improve engagement and support business decision-making
  • Developing and implementing HR frameworks, tools and processes that support business needs
  • Supporting key employee lifecycle initiatives including performance management, development planning and succession planning
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, keeping up to date with HR trends, legislation and industry best practice
  • Building strong relationships across the business and delivering commercially focused HR solutions

The Person:

  • Significant experience working within a senior HR generalist, HR Business Partner or People Partner role
  • Experience working within a fast paced, production led environment (manufacturing/engineering/logistics/warehouse/FMCG/construction)
  • Strong experience managing complex employee relations matters and providing practical advice to senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to influence, coach and challenge leaders at all levels
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, commercial environment
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and employment legislation
  • Experience using HR data and insights to drive improvements and support decision-making
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to remain hands-on and operational when required
