We are hiring for our client, a leading civil engineering contractor based in Co Tyrone, who specialises in delivering significant infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and Ireland. Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to manage the commercial aspects of their projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. This is a full-time, permanent management position.

The Role
As a Commercial Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Estimating for new project tenders
- Liaising with the QS / Contracts Manager and client representatives, attending meetings
- Negotiating and agreeing subcontractor terms
- Preparing cost value reconciliation reports, ensuring accurate financial forecasts
- Managing and monitoring project costs
- Preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations
- Ensuring timely closure of final accounts
- Meeting with client representatives to agree variations and valuations
- Managing minor civils projects, primarily in the energy sector, ensuring the programme and safety are maintained
The Person
To succeed in the Commercial Contracts Manager role, you'll need:
- 5+ years' relevant experience managing civil engineering construction projects
- Degree or Higher Diploma qualification in Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong knowledge and confidence in dealing with clients and stakeholders
- Effective communication and managerial skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office
- A full UK driver's licence
