The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all aspects of maintenance operations at the Monaghan plant. You will manage a team of technicians, ensure the smooth running of equipment, and implement preventative maintenance programs while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to deliver high performance and a strong safety culture.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
- Manage repairs, inspections, and upgrades to minimise downtime and maintain product quality.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and oversee external contractors.
- Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.
- Identify and deliver process improvements across the department.
About You:
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar high-volume production environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of processing equipment, machinery, and utilities.
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, though relevant experience will be considered.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
