Maintenance Manager A leading manufacturing company based in Ballymena is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team.

You will lead the maintenance team to ensure machinery and systems operate efficiently, driving quality and yield improvements while minimising downtime.
You will support key site projects and daily manufacturing challenges, contributing to the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Inspire, guide, and mentor the engineering team to achieve targets and KPIs.
Provide performance feedback and training.
Maintenance Management: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance.
Oversee proactive maintenance strategies to minimise unplanned downtime.
Project Support: Assist with factory expansions, including machinery and equipment installations.
Budget Oversight: Manage the Maintenance department budget efficiently.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and facility efficiency.
Technical Solutions: Provide innovative solutions to technical challenges, aligning with world-class asset care standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and inventory.
The Person: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in the food or beverage sector.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in MS Office and strong IT literacy.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
