We are hiring for our client, a leading supplier of high-quality ingredients to the food manufacturing industry. Due to continued success, they are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team. This is a permanent opportunity working Monday to Friday day shifts, based in a well-established and growing facility.
This Electrical Maintenance Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong fault-finding skills and a background in maintaining production equipment to step into a secure role with a company that values long-term development and employee engagement.
The Role:
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose, fault-find, and repair machinery across the site
- Ensure minimal downtime by maintaining safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Work alongside production teams to maintain a safe and compliant environment
- Assist with installation and upgrade projects as required
The Person:
- Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Competent in fault-finding and repairs on automated machinery
- Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
The Reward:
- £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
