Senior Technical Manager Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead and develop the technical function within a growing pet food manufacturing business. The successful candidate will oversee product safety, quality, legality and compliance, while driving continuous improvement and developing a strong quality culture across the organisation. Based onsite in Dungannon, Mid Ulster, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with technical, operational, commercial and logistics teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment. Permanent, full time, onsite role based in Dungannon. Lead the technical function within a growing and innovative pet food manufacturer. The Role:
- Lead and develop the Technical Team, ensuring products meet internal, customer and regulatory standards.
- Maintain the quality management system, BRCGS accreditation, auditing programme and HACCP plans.
- Liaise with DAERA, support customer audits and assist with export and import certification.
- Report to management on product safety, legality, quality and process controls.
- Drive corrective actions, continuous improvement and training across the business. The Person:
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
- HACCP Level 4 qualification and proven experience maintaining BRCGS accreditation.
- At least five years of management experience in a technical, quality or food manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams, managing audits and working with regulatory authorities.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication and people management skills.
- Experience in pet food or food manufacturing is desirable. The Rewards:
