Management Accountant Location: Mid Ulster | Hybrid working | Manufacturing Description We are hiring for our client, a manufacturing organisation in Mid Ulster, which is seeking a Management Accountant to support financial reporting and business performance. This Management Accountant opportunity offers exposure to the operational side of a manufacturing business. You will help turn financial information into practical insights, supporting colleagues with cost analysis, budgeting and informed decision-making. Commercial involvement - contribute to understanding costs, margins and operational performance. The Role Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Support budgeting and forecasting, explaining variances against expectations. Analyse production costs, stock movements and margins. Work with operational colleagues to understand performance and identify potential improvements. Help improve financial reporting, processes and controls. The Person Relevant management accounting experience and a sound understanding of month-end reporting. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or equivalent relevant experience. Manufacturing, costing or stock accounting experience would be beneficial. Confident using Excel to analyse information and explain findings. Comfortable working with colleagues outside finance.
