We are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer based in Dungannon, who is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join their design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of new and maintenance of existing mobile equipment, predominantly within the screening industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing design efficiency, delivering innovative solutions, and helping produce world-class products for a growing global customer base.

The Role:
- Develop full 3D designs and manufacturing packages (drawings and BOMs) for new and existing products
- Address customer complaints by working with the team to investigate and resolve issues efficiently
- Ensure products meet performance, safety, and reliability standards
- Assist with resolving root causes of technical problems in design and product performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient production processes
The Person:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent, ideally with experience in mobile crushing, screening, or heavy equipment design
- Proficient in 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally Creo, and experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and modern design practices
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, creative, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
