Job Title: Site Installation Electrician Description: We are seeking an experienced Site Installation Electrician to join a specialist electrical engineering and automation business based in Co. Tyrone. The company delivers electrical control panel design, manufacture, installation and commissioning across industrial projects, including plant facilities, heavy machinery and automated manufacturing environments. This site-based role will suit an autonomous electrician who can hit the ground running, diagnose faults independently and work safely as part of a close-knit engineering team. Tyrone-based automation specialist Varied industrial projects - installation & commissioning The Role: As a Site Installation Electrician, you will: Install, modify and commission industrial electrical systems, including three-phase power distribution, switchgear, control panels, trunking and SWA cabling Carry out proactive maintenance and fault-finding on production lines, conveyors, pumps and automated plant machinery Troubleshoot control circuits, relays and interface systems; PLC experience is advantageous Read and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings, and assist with testing and commissioning control systems Carry out inspection and testing to support compliance with current electrical standards, including BS 7671 Follow rigorous safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) and permits to work, and work safely in industrial plant environments Work collaboratively with engineers and panel builders to deliver projects on time The role will involve a mix of workshop and on-site work, primarily across NI and ROI.
