We are hiring for our client, a leading organisation in the construction and engineering sector, seeking a talented Project Planner / Programmer to join their expanding team. The Project Planner / Programmer will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects through effective planning and resource management.

The Role:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Allocate and optimise resources (labour, plant, and materials) to improve project productivity.
  • Monitor project progress, highlight risks, and provide accurate progress reports, forecasts, and recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure realistic and achievable programmes.
  • Assess the impact of design or scope changes, conducting time-risk analysis and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC contract principles and industry best practices.
  • Support tender processes by preparing tender programmes and contributing to bid deliverables.

The Person:

  • A relevant degree / qualification in Construction or Engineering.
  • Proven experience as a Project Planner / Programmer in the construction and engineering sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
